Hello World …
For some time, I was thinking to start a blog dedicated to photography, to my way of viewing through the viewfinder but until now I haven’t found the right impulse.
A few weeks before a friend of mine took a Fuji x100t and he started talking about the quality of pictures this camera produces, the simplicity of having it with you everywhere and finally that he is in love again with photography. So, I asked him to bring it on one day to “play” with his new “toy” – my background is Canon DSLRs and owner of 5D MKIII and several L glasses – and examine why he is so excited about this camera.
I will not lie, my first impression was that it is another compact camera with some cosmetics but when I started looking it deeper and took my first chrome classic film simulation photo … I said Wow … those are the colors I imagine to have in my photographs … But again I wasn’t convinced that I could replace my DSLR – in certain situations – with this camera.
Thus, I started searching everything in the internet related to the Fuji x100t and finally I discover a new photographic world the Fuji x100 world.
Immediately, I borrow his camera and use it for several days.
The photographs below were taken from my last trip to Netherlands using a FUJI X100T in the classic chrome setting most of the time, shooting .jpeg, with minimal to none post process.
